Average Daily Hashrate

Every day since the genesis block - average hashrate, block count and average block time for each calendar day.

Each row represents one UTC day. Hashrate is estimated from the average time between blocks mined that day. Block count is coloured green when more than 144 blocks were found (faster than the 10-minute target) and red when fewer were found. The current day is always partial - its block count colour follows the average block time instead. A day with only 1 block (the very first day, 3 January 2009) is shown as-is - Satoshi mined the genesis block alone and the chain did not continue until block 1 was found on 9 January 2009.
